6.4 Outbound employees assigned abroad


Italy

Legislative Decree No 317/1897 establishes the obligatory nature of social insurance for Italian workers operating abroad, with reference to:

  1. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý insurance for disability, old age and survivors

  2. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý insurance against tuberculosis

  3. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý insurance against involuntary unemployment

  4. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases

  5. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý insurance against illness

  6. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý maternity insurance

Both Italian and foreign employers are required to have the insurance.
